When you volunteer with Transitions, you help remind women experiencing poverty and homelessness that they are not alone. You become part of a community working to support dignity, stability, and hope for women and children in Spokane.

Transitions’ committees are fundamental to the work we do. The caring, driven people who serve on these committees help strengthen our programs, support our mission, and move us closer to ending poverty and homelessness for women and children in Spokane.

We are always looking for community members who want to share their time, experience, and perspective through one of our five committees:

Development Committee

Supports fundraising, donor engagement, events, and community relationships.

Facilities Committee

Helps support the care, planning, and stewardship of Transitions’ physical spaces.

Finance Committee

Provides guidance around financial stewardship, budgeting, and long term sustainability.

Program Committee

Supports program quality, service delivery, and alignment with the mission of Transitions.

HeRs Committee

Supports Human Resources and Sponsorship efforts that help strengthen the organization.
