Housing Support for Women and Families in Spokane

Transitions provides affordable and supportive housing in Spokane for women and families experiencing poverty, homelessness, housing instability, and barriers to long term stability.

Looking for Housing? Start Here

Transitions does not place individuals or families directly into our housing programs. All referrals for Transitions housing come through Spokane’s Coordinated Entry system.

If you are seeking housing, please start by completing an assessment through SNAP or Catholic Charities, depending on your family size and situation. Coordinated Entry determines placement options and makes referrals when units become available.

Contacting Transitions directly does not speed up placement or add you to a housing list.

A Safe Place to Begin Again

Stable housing can change everything. It creates space for healing, safety, routine, family connection, and the ability to move forward with greater confidence.

Transitions provides affordable and supportive housing programs for women and families in Spokane. Through safe housing, on site case management, and compassionate support, we help participants work toward stability, self determination, and long term wellbeing.

Housing Is More Than a Roof

For women and families experiencing poverty or homelessness, housing is often the foundation for everything else. Without a stable place to live, it can be difficult to focus on employment, health, childcare, education, safety, or recovery from trauma.

Transitions approaches housing as part of whole person care. Our housing programs are designed to provide more than a place to stay. They offer connection, support, dignity, and opportunities to build a stronger future.

Transitions Support Rooted in Dignity and Self Determination

Support Rooted in Dignity and Self Determination

Transitions’ housing programs are grounded in trauma informed care, dignity, and respect for each participant’s goals. We recognize that every person’s path is different, and we work alongside participants as they identify their needs, build stability, and take steps toward the future they want.

Our housing support is not about simply placing someone in a unit. It is about creating a stable environment where healing, growth, and long term change become possible.
